AESPA' second real and virtual member - KARINA

 ๐‡๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ ๐ค๐ฉ๐จ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž !

On October 27 the second member - KARINA - of SM Entertainments New Girl Group AESPA was revealed. If you guys haven't read my previous post and do not understand the name -  AESPA is a combination of words ' Avatar x Experience ' & Aspect and as the entertainment stated on their twitter account ( @SMTOWNGLOBAL ) - a very intriguing theme of the Group will be ' Experiencing a new world via the encounter of the avatar, and your other self '. 

With the gorgeous teaser photos release - just as the previous member - hashtags #KARINA and #AESPA - floded the Korean and Western social media. In less than 24 hours Karina's pictures got more than 100K likes and 60k shares on groups' official twitter account ( @aespa_official )

Yoo Jimin ( real name ) was born in South Korea in 2000 and went through a 4 years long training period. During that time she was a part os SM' 'public trainees' - everyone knew her name, we could see her selcas all around the internet. Furthermore She was the 'mysterious girl'  featured in Taemin' 'MOVE' promotions & mv. Many netizens say that due to her ' known, popular ' past her bar is set high and the interest is focused on her. Karina' possible position are - Leader, Visual, Lead dancer and Lead vocalist.

Moreover - on October 28 ( News from last minute guys !!! ) SM released their first teaser regarding the aespa' Virtual Reality concept - 'MY, KARINA '. From what we got to know from Jimin' video - each member will have their own virtual avatars - how is everything going to work ? will we get separate virtual members mv'? We will have to wait for the company to release more videos and information !

During the teaser Karina was showed ' face timing ' - most likely other members of the group ! - which to be quite honest got as all shocked. AESPA was speculated to have four members from three different parts of Asia  - Korea, Japan and China - and all of that actually might've came true ! Wanna see the other girls ? 'BLACK MAMBA' -AESPA' debut single release

 ๐‡๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ ๐ค๐ฉ๐จ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ! On Tuesday, November 17 2020, 7PM KST AESPA' released their first single titled 'BLACK MAMBA'. Since I am writing this the day it came out - it's been around 1,5 hour and the song completely smashed the YouTube platform, the views froze on 476k and 500k likes ! - isn't that crazy ? It also got to the top lists on Korean streaming platforms like Bugs - 5th place and Genie - 17th place. I personally loved the MV! The outfits and choreography were amazing, the aesthetic was very colorful and bright although there was a moment that we were introduced to in one of Karina's teasers - everything got dark, quite scary the women dressed like a snake was talking to her -  It was a great contrast / juxtaposition in between concepts portrayed - maybe we will get some kind of storyline related to it?
